Thermomix Accessories in Canada: Complete Guide for the TM7
What ships in the TM7 box, what you buy separately, and what each accessory actually does
What accessories does the Thermomix TM7 come with in Canada?
Every Thermomix TM7 sold in Canada ships with the Varoma steamer (lid, dish, and tray), the mixing bowl with sealing ring and blade assembly, the simmering basket, the butterfly whisk, the measuring cup, and the spatula. The Thermomix Sensor wireless probe, the blade cover, the splatter guard, the cookbook stand, the transport bag, and replacement bowls and blades are sold separately through your Vorwerk consultant.

The Short Answer
The Thermomix TM7 ships with a complete starter set of accessories. Out of the box you get the mixing bowl, the Varoma steamer (lid + dish + tray), the simmering basket, the butterfly whisk, the spatula, and the measuring cup that doubles as a lid cap. The accessories most Canadian owners add later are the Thermomix Sensor wireless probe for sous-vide and roasts, a second mixing bowl for back-to-back recipes, and the soft transport bag if you travel with the machine. Everything is ordered through your Vorwerk consultant. Shop through my consultant link and Vorwerk's $75 TM7 shipping fee is waived automatically.
What Ships in the TM7 Box
Every new Thermomix TM7 sold in Canada includes the following at no extra cost:
- Mixing bowl with sealing ring and blade assembly. 2.2 L usable capacity, stainless steel, dishwasher-safe.
- Varoma steamer (lid, dish, tray). Two-level steaming attachment that sits on top of the bowl. See the full Varoma guide for what you can cook in it.
- Simmering basket. Sits inside the bowl. Used for rice, pasta, draining, and as a counterweight when blending.
- Butterfly whisk. Snaps onto the blade for whipping cream, beating egg whites, and folding without chopping.
- Spatula. Designed to scrape the bowl safely while the blade is moving at low speed.
- Measuring cup. Doubles as the lid cap. Holds 100 mL and is used as a steam stopper for most cooking modes.
That set is enough to run essentially every recipe in the Cookidoo library. You do not need to buy anything additional on day one. The Canadian box also includes the power cord, the printed Quick Start guide, and the Cookidoo activation card that unlocks the 3-month trial.

Accessories Sold Separately
These accessories are not in the TM7 box. They are ordered through your Vorwerk consultant in Canada and shipped from Vorwerk Canada's warehouse.
Thermomix Sensor (wireless probe)
The Sensor is a wireless meat and food probe introduced alongside the TM7. It connects to the touchscreen over a short-range wireless link and lets the TM7 cook by internal temperature rather than time, the way a sous-vide circulator or a high-end oven probe does. Price in Canada is $169 CAD as a standalone accessory, or $69 when bundled with the TM7 in the Smart Bundle. The Thermomix Sensor deep dive covers battery life, range, compatibility, and recipe use cases.
Blade cover
A snap-on cover that sits over the blade assembly inside the bowl. It is used for slow-cook and gentle-stir recipes, like risotto, stew, or anything where you want the heat and motion without chopping. Vorwerk Canada sells the Blade Cover and Peeler set for $59 CAD.
Cookbook stand and splatter guard
Vorwerk Canada does not currently list a standalone cookbook stand or splatter guard as separate accessory SKUs on thermomix.ca. The included measuring cup serves as the splatter seal for most cooking modes, and most Canadian owners use Cookidoo on the touchscreen rather than a printed cookbook on a stand. If you need either item specifically, check with your consultant for current availability.
Transport bag
A padded soft bag sized to the TM7 footprint, with handles and a shoulder strap. Useful if you take the TM7 to a friend's house, to a cottage, or to a workshop. The TM7 Carry Bag is $79 CAD in Canada, and the larger TM7 Shopper Bag is $89 CAD.
Replacement mixing bowl
A second complete bowl assembly (bowl + sealing ring + blade). Worth it if you cook multi-component meals back-to-back and don't want to wash between steps. Current Canadian pricing is confirmed at the time of order through your consultant, since the bowl assembly is sold as a coordinated set rather than a fixed catalog SKU.
Replacement blade assembly
The blade itself is a wear part. Vorwerk Canada recommends replacing it when it dulls noticeably or after heavy use. The Mixing Knife replacement is $95 CAD in Canada, and the blade is covered for 12 months under the standard warranty.

What About Cookbooks and Cookidoo?
Cookidoo, the online recipe platform, is not an accessory in the physical sense, but it is the platform every TM7 accessory ends up being used through. Every new TM7 ships with a 3-month Cookidoo trial. After the trial, the subscription is $89 CAD per year. Printed cookbooks are sold through the consultant network too, with topic-specific volumes (baking, vegetarian, Quebec recipes). Most Canadian owners stay on Cookidoo and skip the print library, but the option exists.
How to Buy Accessories in Canada
There is no Amazon listing, no Costco bundle, no Best Buy aisle. Every Thermomix accessory in Canada is ordered through a Vorwerk consultant. I'm Ervin, based in Vancouver, BC, and I serve customers in every Canadian province. Two ways to order:
- At the same time as your TM7. When you shop through my consultant link, Vorwerk waives the $75 TM7 shipping fee and any add-on accessories ship with the machine.
- After your TM7 arrives. Reach out through my consultant link and I'll put together a quote with current Canadian prices, then walk you through the Vorwerk Canada order flow.
